SimTouch WinCe is also a GPS SatNav when your are on the ground. So you could say you get two products in one at no extra cost. You can use any mapping software like iGO8 ,Route 66 etc. In the SimTouch settings you only have to select the mapping software exe file once and away you go.

The mapping software will be on an SD Card usually about 2 GB in Size.

You just simply insert your SD card mapping software and you are done. You can also use your existing mapping software from another GPS Sat Nav.

After you have set the file path to the map software , you will be able to start the GPS system from SimTouch main menu.

SimTouch when being used with Flight Simulator just requires to be pluged into the Computers USB port.

The USB port will power the SimTouch Device. The charger that comes with SimTouch is just for the purpose of charging the battery for GPS navigation when you are out and about. Also there is a car charger included so you can charge or just power the SimTouch in the car.
